I was born and raised in a Volkswagen dealership. Over the years I have owned dozens of VW's in all shapes and sizes from stock, to mild & wild. It's in my blood. I have built many campers over the years and with the Vanagon Syncro(All Wheel Drive) market reaching six figures I settled on a 1982 Vanagon Diesel which not very common in California. This project was started in February of 2024 and named Frank. Within in few months Frank came to a screeching halt. Fast forward to January 2026, with a new life and an even stronger desire to travel Frank was reborn as Knarf. Follow along and be apart of the build & travel of Knarf.
